How do I connect Faire, and how do Faire orders come into Endless and get accepted?

Connect Faire by pasting an access token from Faire’s brand portal on the Access token tab of Connect with Faire. Use the Access token tab for Faire, not the OAuth (recommended) tab. Reconnect with Faire replaces the stored token, for example to rotate it or switch Faire accounts. Settings, including the Sales Channel and the point from which orders are imported, stay as they are.

Import Orders fetches orders updated on Faire since the last check, and Endless runs it every hour. The first check starts from the moment it runs. To bring in orders placed before you connected, use Pull Orders, which asks for a date and fetches orders updated since then. Both fetch only orders that are New or Backordered on Faire. Import Order brings in one order by its Faire order ID or display ID, in any state. When an order changes on Faire after import, update it in Endless as well.

Faire orders arrive as Pending in the sales channel chosen in the Sales Channel setting. When an order is approved, right away if the sales channel’s Auto-approve Orders setting is on or when someone selects Approve Order, Endless accepts it on Faire, which moves it to Processing there. Endless does this only for orders that were New on Faire when imported. Backordered orders are already accepted on Faire, so Endless skips them. For any other state, the order’s Activity tab says acceptance was skipped because of an unexpected state. This happens to orders brought in with Import Order after they had already moved on in Faire. Manage those orders in Faire.

When a retailer cancels a Faire order after import, cancel it in Endless as well. The Endless order stays open until you do. Contact Endless support to discuss syncing later Faire changes and cancellations.
