Keeping Your Tool List Current

We add tools to the MCP server as we build them, so the list grows. Your client asks for it when it connects and then holds on to it, which means a newly released tool will not appear on its own.

Refreshing takes a few seconds. Nothing needs to be re-authorized, and you do not have to remove the connector or sign in again.

The server is stateless by design, so it cannot push a notice that the tools changed. The client has to ask.

Claude on Web, Desktop, or Mobile

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Click Endless Commerce.
  3. Open the menu at the top right, beside Disconnect, and choose Refresh tools list.
  4. Look under Tool permissions and confirm the new tools are set the way you want. You can set a whole group at once with the dropdown beside its heading, or set one tool at a time to always allow, ask each time, or never.

Claude Code

Type /mcp, select endless, and reconnect. Restarting Claude Code does the same thing, because the tool list is fetched fresh on every connection.

A Different MCP Client

Restart the client, or disconnect and reconnect the server. Most clients fetch the tool list only when the connection is made.

When in doubt, ask

“What Endless tools do you have?” is a fair question to put to your AI tools. They answer from the list they are holding right now, so if a tool we have announced is missing from their answer, the list is stale.

Still Missing After a Refresh

If a tool is still missing after a refresh, check these.

  • Analytics tools. The nine ECHO tools require a plan that includes ECHO. See Analytics.
  • Supply chain tools. The eight supply chain tools require a plan that includes supply chain. See Supply Chain.
  • Any other tool. Availability is controlled on the Endless side. Contact support@endlesscommerce.com.
