supplyReconcileDeliveryAppointment

Refreshes the shipment's appointment from the scheduling integration: an unconfirmed booking is looked for there, and a confirmed appointment is read again and its changes are saved.

Business Rules​

  • Refused while the booking's own process is still running. A booking that has not recorded its outcome is also refused until the integration's longest possible booking time has passed since it started, even if its process timed out
  • An unconfirmed booking is searched for at the warehouse it was booked at, among the connected user's appointments, by its reference number, start time, dock, and load type. Appointments linked to another shipment are ignored
  • One match created after the booking started is linked to the shipment. A match created before it is not linked. No match clears the booking, so the shipment can be booked again. Several matches, or a search too large to finish, change nothing
  • A confirmed appointment the integration reports as cancelled or missing is cleared and kept as history. When the integration cannot be reached, nothing changes
  • Otherwise a confirmed appointment whose status, time, confirmation number, reference number, dock, load type, or notes changed in the integration is saved with the new values and recorded on the shipment's timeline. The notes returned with the appointment stay the ones the operator entered. The warehouse's time zone is saved when it is missing. When nothing changed, nothing is recorded
  • Runs in the background; follow the returned process for the outcome

Error Scenarios​

The process fails with the reason, for example "This shipment has no delivery appointment to refresh." or the list of matching appointments.
