upsertAccountingCustomer

Create or change the internal accounting values a Customer carries for one integration.

Business Rules

  • Omitted fields keep their stored value; a null clears an optional one.
  • billingAddressId and shippingAddressId must each name an address of this Customer or one of its active locations. The record keeps a copy, so a later edit to that address applies only when it is chosen again.
  • A Customer whose accounting is inherited from its sales channel cannot be changed here.
  • Nothing is sent to the provider. An explicit push does that.
  • accountingTermId must name a payment term belonging to this company. A push sets that term in the provider but never clears one, so a null here leaves the provider's term alone.

Error Scenarios

  • The Customer or the integration is missing, or belongs to another company.
  • A field is unknown, too long, or carries a value the field does not accept.
  • A chosen address does not belong to this Customer or its active locations.
  • The payment term does not belong to this company.
  • The Customer inherits its accounting from its sales channel.
