productPriceCopyPreview

Returns the exact counts for a one-time copy of price tiers from one price owner to another, so the copy can be confirmed before it runs.

Counting Rules​

  • Only prices for active products are counted.
  • A tier the target already has for a product and minimum quantity is reported as skipped, because the copy keeps it as it is.
  • The counts describe productCopyPrices with the same owners, so running the copy right after reading them creates priceCount tiers.

Authentication & Permissions​

Requires authentication and the products:read_prices permission for the active company.

Possible Errors​

  • **Price source/target not found**: an owner does not belong to the active company.
  • **Duplicate tiers on the source**: the source has two prices for the same product and minimum quantity, so what to copy is undefined.
