Archives a GS1 company prefix. Registering the same digits later revives this record, so codes are never reissued.

Business Rules​

  • The prefix must exist within the current company.
  • No integration may still be assigned to it.

Error Scenarios​

  • **NOT_FOUND**: when the prefix does not exist.
  • **BAD_REQUEST**: when an integration still points at the prefix.

A GS1 prefix licensed to the company. Integrations assigned to it mint SSCC-18 codes from one shared serial counter, and its GTIN capacity defines the owned UPC block.
